COMPETITIVE EXAM AND CAREER COUNSELLING CELL

                Competitive Exam and career counselling Cell has been formed in our college to support students and makes them confident to perform better. Thus it addresses both the academic and career concerned opportunities. Career Counselling Cell offers necessary counselling to the students according to their capabilities, orientations and aptitude.  It provides career related guidance to our students and organises various programs such as mock interview, soft skill development classes, special lectures, industry talk etc. Committee develop students’ competencies in self-knowledge, educational and occupational exploration, and career planning.

                A career counselling committee is working towards organizing interactive sessions on the issue of probable upcoming career options. This cell intends to help the students to establish a linkage with the world of work and local career opportunities in the highly competitive professional domain. It provides counselling and expert advises to the students of graduate (UG) and post graduate (PG) courses of all disciplines including the recent alumni. From time to time, it has organized awareness programs in the field of higher education, strategies involved to pass NET, SET exams to the students of UG and PG courses. Career opportunities to the young graduates are given in the field of banking, UPSC, MPSC and various other examinations. Counselling Cell provides a platform for students to pursue both their professional and personal goals with greater self-awareness, self esteem, understanding and a focus.

Aims and Objectives

                The objective of the Competitive Exam and Career Counselling Cell is to provide guidance and motivation to students in exploring various career avenues through lectures by inviting eminent personalities from academia, industries and renowned organizations.  Career counselling committee provides recruitment related information/ advertisement to the students and explain them about the selection procedures of particular recruitment advertisement.

PROCEDURE

                For running the cell, the teachers committee has been formed from the various departments. The main purpose of the cell is to provide the professional knowledge to the students. In terms of this all teachers from the department had informed to provide guidance to their departmental students. For achieving this purpose a standardized format for the guidance has been constructed with discussing the all staff members.
